Good morning ladies from a dull grey day here and I hope your day is much brighter.

I went with OH this morning to take the dogs for a walk and I quiet enjoyed the fresh air. It is the first time I have walked the dogs in ages so it made a nice change.

I would like to wish all of you a very Happy, healthy and wealthy New Year.

Bye for now

Berniece

Good morning Berniece and all who follow. Glad you enjoyed the walk. I had a lovely day yesterday too. Church on the morning then my son, dil and little granddaughter came up from Hampshire. We went to a local pub, The Chequers atcThpmpson, for an evening meal before they went back. John brought me, and assembled, a lovely cart for the garden for moving heavy things like full watering cans and big pots. It's in the garage till gardening starts again. He also brought me a Crock-pot slow cooker. Never used one but some of the recipes sound really interesting. Ndering if I could use it for porridge the old fashioned way? I mean not using Quick Quaker Oats. Any comments from north of the border welcome.
Bright, dull day here. Great for me for driving. Low sun in the eyes is not good.
Happy New Year every one!

Good morning everyone from a very dull and damp Somerset. I hope all the people who are feeling poorly will soon be feeling a lot better. We are off to a party tonight and it's only over the road so no driving necessary. There are about 18 of the neighbours get together and we all take some food and drink. I'm on salads this year. One of the ladies organises some very good games and we have a lot of fun. I hope you all have a good time whether you are going out or staying in. I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and a very healthy one too. A big thank you to you all for all the support and encouragement that you have given me over the last year.

Love to you all

Afternoon all, dull and grey here too.

Have spent an hour or so catching up with the fortnights work that appeared while i have been on holiday, just waiting for the boss to contact me now to solve a couple of problems.

Did one jigsaw yesterday and about half of a second, but this one is cyclists all waiting for the start of a race by the looks of it so much harder, will hopefully get some more pieces in today.

Also looking at the temperatures for Dillons blanket as need to work out how often they appear and allocate his favourite colours to the most common temperatures.

Have a good day all.

Cheered at surgery as I had a nurse I don't often see and she noticed a big improvement since she saw it about a month ago. Have been reading the slow cooker recipe book and the instructions - and shopping at Tesco. Spent a fortune and forgot the Bramley apples. Shall be trying roast chicken soup later in the week as it uses the carcass. I shall get at least three more meals off my little bird. May start knitting for Annalise tonight. She saw the wool and really liked it as did her mum.
