Good morning everyone. Well we had very thick fog again overnight and although it has cleared now, it is feeling very cold out there at the moment. Brrrrr!!

Hope you all had a good time over Christmas and are all keeping well at the moment.

We managed to have a nice time, very relaxing which is just what was needed. Going from day to day and taking things just one step at a time, but Joe doing okay at the moment, not great, but keeping going which is good.

Catching up on a few chores and some laundry today and then chill time again over the weekend.

Take care all and sending hugs to those in need of some. Have a good day.

Alison x

Good morning Alison and all who follow. It is a grey day here and no fog so we can manage okay.

I am saying nothing about Christmas and I hope the New Year will come in and go quietly.

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying what is left of this holiday season.

Afternoon Alison, Berniece and all who follow. Quite mild here the back /conservatory foor is wide open.

Well all too soon we had to say goodbye to Matthew, Chrissy and Dillon at 8 this morning and Chrissy is now at airport waiting for her flight at 1.30. I already miss them like mad, the house is so empty without them.

Mamoth laundry session so we can be back in our bed tonight and the dogs beds sorted and remade back in our room, plus general clear up and then we are going to have a couple of days quiet relaxing, hope to get a jigsaw or 2 done, before starting on the std cards as we didnt manage to get them done over xmas as the printer wouldnt play and we were just so busy.

Have a good day all.

Good afternoon all. Just got up after very late night yesterday had a lovely time with Ann, Mark and my grown up granddaughters on Boxing Day, lazy late start day yesterday. John and co stayed home with very heavy coughs, colds and tonsillitis. I've not heard anything since Caroline took Annalise to A& E. Poor mite had badly inflamed tonsils. Naomi and Ella go back to Bristol and Swansea tomorrow. Anna's return to Aberystwyth depends on how well she continues to recover from glandular fever - they are playing that by ear. John had a diabetic medical appointment today. Expect to hear later if he is coming tomorrow. I don't think Caroline and Annalise will be well enough, and they have been warned about bringing unwanted bugs our (Anna's and my) way. I am fine as long as I do not stare at the iPad too long, but the op did take more out of me energy wise than I expected. And I have anti infection drops for three weeks while it heals then back to eye clinic on 22nd January.
Dull grey day here, but quite mild. No plans to go out though.
Enjoy your days and rests!
