Good morning ladies from the cold wet SE. I went with OH and the dogs to post some cards this morning and was pleased to get home again as my hands were frozen.

How are you Alison? I was sorry to read all about your problems and I hope your plumber turns up and put things right this time. How are your bruises etc?

OH and I met sons fiancée's parents yesterday and they are a lovely couple and we really enjoyed ourselves and I feel so much better now I know them.

I am down to half a tablet of my last BP tablet and my BP is still not up to the level set for me so I am going to take the last half tomorrow and then just check my BP and jot down the results for my GP, so I am keeping my fingers crossed it levels out for the rest of the week.

I hope you are all having a good day.

Bye for now...

Berniece

Afternoon Berniece and anyone else who follows. Dry and cloudy here, but like yourself hun, very chilly here too.

Bruises are a little less, thanks sweetie. I think I got so stressed and low last week and just lost my balance, mind was elsewhere. Ooops. Joe rang the surgery this morning and got told to call back tomorrow to see if he could get an appt.

New tumble dryer seems to be fine, tricky getting used to the different time cycles and beeps, etc, but it's good so far. Called the plumber this morning and he said he would try to get out to us sometime this week. I won't hold my breath!

Berniece - so happy to hear about the parents meeting going well, that's good. Take it easy hun and I hope your BP levels out very soon.

Have a good afternoon everyone.

Alison x

Good afternoon Berniece, Alison and all who follow, rather grey and cool here but not too bad.

Berniece it make take a while for the tablets to work out of your system, so you may not see a true bp reading for several days to a few weeks. Fingers crossed it all sorts eventually though.

Alison, pleased to hear you are not too bad now after that tumble, you really should take more water with it next time you know!lol. Pleased the tumble arrived ok and you are working your way round the new times etc. Fingers crossed the plumber doesnt wait too long before coming back out, you really need it all sorted now winter is here. Plus we all know that a small hole can sometimes rapidly become something bigger the longer its left.

We were meant to have haircut this morning but she messaged and asked if she could change it to 1345 on wednesday, bit of a pain, but not as if it mucks us up too much.

Looked at the fuchsia cuttings yesterday that i took just over a month ago and ended up having to pot a lot up into bigger pots as they were so well rooted! Never had them do so well at this time of year. Still got about or 9 propagators left to check, so i now need even more hours in each day than i did even last week and 24 hours wasnt enough then!! Time is rapidly running out on me.

Have a good day all.

How right you are about time running out Jacqui.
I haven't even started thinking about Christmas cards or presents yet. Get new hearing aids a week on Friday, an eye op pre assessment this Wednesday the op itself on 20 th December, and a visit to Plastics for the leg on tenth. Where can I fit everything else in? 48 (the hours I need in a day) just won't go into 24 by any known mathematical method! Oh! And there's a dental appointment n there smewhere too. I need a haircut and that means a salon appointment snce the lady who used to come to the house retired!
The prospect of a long hard winter has no appeal whatsoever. I have visions of my Finnish friend beating us all by skiing round Watton! Anybody know any folk with huskies and dog sleds who could give us all lifts this winter? At least that might be fun!
Happy crafting!
