Good afternoon everyone. Walked down to the village hall for coffee morning. It was bitterly cold but at least that cold wind had stopped. I heard on the radio that some places have had snow. I hope you are all ok. I'm off out With my friend tomorrow to do some Christmas shopping. Enjoy the rest of your day and keep warm.

Love, Judith.xSmile

Afternoon Judith and all who follow. Quite a bit milder here today, Martin has got the last of the old greenhouse down and ready to take to the allotments.

Alsion said they had snow this morning, i couldnt believe it.

Mothers 80th borthday today, although i had forgotten it was the big one!! Hey ho, the card probably won't be very much appreciated anyway. Have got stitching done on another card so need to get that together tomorrow or Friday, then i have to do one for my stepmum; nobody expected her to see this birthday so i made a special one last year so need another nice one this year. She was always quite a large lady and is now down to under 9 stone, but apparently looked better last week than she has for a while. I am hoping Matthew and Chrissy and go and see her as i know it would mean the world to her to meet Chrissy.
Anyway, knit and natter tonight, so best get on amd sort some tea and get a shift on or i wont be ready when my lift arrives.

Cold here too. Was out this morning and find the PO five miles away is good for international returns, so that is good news. Cold and me are not good friends so itsTV and computer tonight and schedule permitting a phone call to get my Sky bill reduced. Sorted out Barclays. Now to sort out Sky and Microsoft and then will be a happy bunny. Gardener due in morning. I got some turkey slices from Tesco but need to make a Thanksgiving pumpkin pie. Today would have been our sapphire anniversary if Dean had lived. Time is slipping away fast in the count down to Christmas. John convinced me to make very simple cards or buy charity ones. As he said e-cards are just that: mini videos you have to switch on to see. A paper card is something to put up and enjoy all through Christmas and New Year.. I think I'm convinced! And people who work with computers don't want to have to go online to see their Christmas cards. They want to stay offline and have a holiday too! !Handmade for those I know appreciate the effort and charity cards for the rest. I'll type a mini newsletter and print on thin paper to save writing and the strain that would put on the one eye that is getting tired more easily doing the work of 1&3/4.
Have a good evening and keep warm.
All that soup making paid off. I had a bowl for lunch with some homemade cheese scones I was given today, and a bowl of the very filling one when in a hurry and running late last week.
