Hi all, We are going to attempt to update the forum software today (Monday 4th June) which means the forum may be down for some time. Hopefully it will solve the 'jpg' 'jpeg' problem that prevents some people uploading pictures. Are there any other picture file types you would like to be able to upload? Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know Paul, I don't know of any other file types so afraid I can't add anything or be of any help; I am unable to post pics at the moment because Jo (daughter) moved my photos to a different app/place on my phone to free up space and now when I try to find to resize I can't find that app to choose from on the resized app!! Great help kids are at times, all was good before!
Good luck with the update and thanks again for all you do for us. Jacqui

Hi,
We have finally managed to get the forum updated and working again.
You should be able to upload pictures now either .jpg .jpeg .gif .png without resizing them or renaming them.
You will need to use the little paperclip button in the menu when posting to attach the picture.
If anyone could give it a try I would appreciate it.
Thanks. |

As previously said thanks for all your help Paul and Chris' too, I have only just seen this post with the forum not showing so clearly now for me on my phone, so hadn't realised I didn't have to resize pictures anymore! Makes life so much easier so thank you again to all of you who I know have worked so hard the last few days to get us up and running again, it really is very much appreciated. Jacqui

Thank you Paul and Chris. I was a bit worried yesterday when I couldn't log on, so thank you for all you've done for us. We do appreciate it.

Well, here goes again! I give up. I found the paper clip, selected a photo in my photo library, but could not move it to drop files here. I used to click browse, get in my files and select the picture I wanted. This way I couldn't get anything at all to choose from. I chose select in photo library but it made no difference. Drop files here produced no reaction at all. I had found a birthday photo of me with John and Annalise at Sandringham last week, one resized of a card I made last year and the three of last year's birthday cards. None worked. Could not drop them to upload.

Hi, try using the 'add files' button just below the 'drop here box' and navigate to the file.
Thanks. |

This is the sequence I have to use on my phone Margaret.
Tap paperclip, then upload new file, then add file. You then choose what you want (for me that's documents/camera or gallery etc, I then choose the pic I want to use and on phone I have to tap the tick) After doing that I see the picture as if on post, then I tap start upload which is in the post wait until it shows up last as complete, it then shows as an attachment add comment add tap on post as usual which saves it with pic to the forum.
Hope that helps.
