Good morning everyone. We have a rather wet and very windy morning here, not nice out there at all!

We both slept a little better last night, felt more relaxed last night, probably 'cos our food shop actually happened and as we got everything we needed, with good dates too, we are now done and ready for Christmas.

Joe is currently watching some videos on YouTube, stretched out on the bed with the heat pad on his knees, and I am going to give my desk a quick tidy up before doing some carding. Going to get inky today and be a mucky-pup again! Rofl

Btw, have put up a list of card names for my Birthday cards received over on the other thread. Struggling to post photos, got them up on FB but not here, will try again later if I can.

Hope you all have a really good day. Take care if out and about and sending lots of hugs to those needing some.

Good morning Alison and all who join in today. It keeps coming over grey and we have some more rain that we don't really need as I am getting fed up with wet paw marks all over the place. I am not sure where my previous has gone but it certainly disappeared.

Good to hear you had a good nights sleep Alison and long may it continue.

Enjoy your crafting this afternoon and put an apron on if you are going to get mucky.

OH is cooking a duck that I bought yesterday so I am looking forward to our first Christmas treat with others to follow, I am so pleased I showed him how to cook and he come up with some really lovely meals most of the time.

I hope all you ladies are having a good day.

Bye for now.

Berniece Bye

PS I have just done a BP test and it is normal - HORAH

Op went well yesterday. Ann took me and made sure I was OK back home. Got a light lunch - US pot noodles I'd bought in the Commissary on a whim last week, then ice cream and coffee in lounge and fell asleep. Woke for a bit of TV, got supper while watching Master Cbef final and fell asleep again till 11.30 pm. Had glass of milk and half a chocolate bar and went to bed. Woke around 10.30 this morning so have really cought up on sleep. Dressing this afternoon and opticians to get left lens taken out of glasses so I can drive in new year pending new glasses for distance only at end of January. Can read without any now once new lens settles.
Enjoy your crafting, but what exactly are you doing with ink (pad or bottle) to get it all over you? Thought the idea was to get it on card or paper. Or are you using the messy technique on a lineny sort of stuff that mixes colour with a sort of paste? Did it once on a craft weekend. Too messy for me and although I still have the picture in my kitchen I have no desire to do any more that way!
Have fun alland jeepas dry as you can!

Afternoon ladies. Still very windy here, blowing a right gale straight down the field at us. Taking enough effort to stay upright when fetching the post earlier or feeding the birdies!

Berniece - an apron is on my list to get in the new year. Maybe I should get gloves too as it's those fingers of mine that get the worst of the ink. BigGrin

Margaret - it's my fingers that get messy. I am ink blending my own backgrounds, so touching the daubers, etc, gets it all over the fingers and hands. Hey ho, a good part of crafting! BigGrin

Berniece - enjoy the duck and well done to your OH on the cooking.

Margaret - glad all went well and you had a very good sleep too. Take care.

Have a good afternoon everyone.

Evening all another fun day.

We went to find sweet dhop in town for Chrissy to try sweet tobacco and sugar mice, then on to the Hippodrome in Yarmouth which is home to the last remaining indoor circus. Matthew had got us all tickets for near the front and we all had a great time, a really fab show.

Home and late tea after the chicken pot pies Chrissy had requested had been put in the oven amd now Matthew and Chrissy are heading out to the local premier inn for some young lovebird private time together, just the 2 of them. They are picking Dillon up in morning and heading to London, then down to camp for the night before seeing Durdle Door and Stonehenge on Sunday on the way back here! Glad its just them going as i would be worn out with it all. We are going to have a day being quiet and chilling, not used to being on the go out and about so much.
