Good morning everyone. Dry but damp and chilly here.

Rotten sleep again for us, so really hoping for a better one tonight. Think a glass of Babycham might be on the cards to knock me out! BigGrin

Chores and laundry today and also my food delivery - take two - let's see if they can deliver this one, 'cos if they don't and they mess it up again this week, I'll be going to another supermarket!

Anyway, hope everyone is well. Take care and have a good day.

Berniece - sent you a PM so hope you got that hun. Smile Take care babe.

Alison x

Good morning Alison and all who follow from a lovely sunny SE.

Sorry to hear you had a bad night Alison and I would definitely go for a Babycham if it would give me a good nights sleep. I hope your food delivery arrives in time, I wonder if it was because of the supermarkets being so busy with all the extra deliveries they are doing for Christmas.

Yes thank you I did receive your PM this morning but we went out to do all the big shopping at 6.45am and only got back a short while ago but I will catch up with you.

I have started on the tablets I was prescribed today but I think it will be a few days before I see any difference.

I hope all you ladies are keeping well and enjoying what ever you are up to today.

Hi Berniece. Well, shopping delivered nice and early and good dates on everything too, so they have redeemed themselves for now.

No, last week's fiasco was nothing to do with Christmas deliveries, just one of their drivers who really screwed up and then customer services made it all worse so we ended up with no shopping. Thank god we were well stocked up and could manage. I gave them hell for it and got a decent apology along with vouchers which we used on this shop.

So, that's us all done for Christmas. Good job too as the river level is rising and just about to flood again!

Berniece, I shall hope and pray the new tablets work okay for you. Take it easy hun. Oh no worries about catching up with me, just wanted to make sure you got the PM and my thank you sweetie. xxx

Hi everyone, apologies for being missing again. I just found myself so far behind with everything that panic started to set in. I'm nearly there now with just the neighbours cards to deliver and the grandchildren's presents to wrap. Hubby is going to help me with that. Thank you for the lovely cards that I have received.
The river keeps rising here too. Went to the Christmas coffee morning yesterday and one of the ladies' sons works in the Hydrographic office in Exeter. Apparently they are sent an accurate weather forecast for 2 months and in January and February we are forecasted a lot of snow and ice. Must dash now to start delivering the local cards, at least it's now raining yet. Have a good day.

Love, Judith.x

Sorry i am so late posting, as you can appreciate we have been busy, after folks surfaced (we got to bed at just before 4am this morning!) So pleased it all went well Margaret, will be thinking of you and hoping your recovery goes just as well and smoothly.
