Good morning everyone. Well it is a dull cloudy day here so far. Well we had a day of two halves yesterday - two good and two bad. The good news was that our tumble dryer was delivered and the old one taken away, so laundry duties will commence on Monday. Doh! Plus we finally seem to have gotten the radiators working again. Yay! The bad news was that the engineer came out, fixed the leak, all seemed fine after a good hour and then it started leaking again. We can only think it's leaking upon expansion or something. Anyway, it's slow enough to be contained in a small plastic container for now, so we're taking the weekend off and Joe will contact him come Monday to get it sorted - again! The second bad was that I have scratches, scrapes and bruises. I fell down the door step yesterday afternoon. I'm okay but have bruises on both legs and left arm and scrapes on my right hand where I scrabbled to get a grip. I'm alive though!! So Joe's banned me from outdoors today and I'm staying in my craft room while he wraps up my Birthday pressies. Hope you all have a good day. Take care and keep warm. Alison x

Oh dear!! Alison. You seem to be in the wars more than most of us. Nice day here today. Cloudy so sun is not killing my eyes but it is peeping out now after a very grey start. Washer ready to unload and put clothes in dryer. Nothing for the line today. Just as well as I am still in my nightie! Most uncharacteristic, but woke at eight and decided to get half dressed (trousers) and cone down to load washer and have breakfast before going back up to wash my hair. Just finished reading paper and second cup of coffee. Wlli transfer clothes before hair, then must get on computer for posters and rotas, then go out for meat for weekend and to pay for papers. Maybe look for different yarn for Annalise cardigan as she is now very much into pink. Have a good day all.

Oh Alison, I do sympathise. I took a flying leap on the patio a couple of weeks ago and it really hurt! Hope you feel better soon. I've been soup making today, cream of asparagus and curried parsnip. Certainly the weather for hearty soups. I don't like the cold. Roll on spring. have a good weekend everyone. xx Sylvi
