Yesterday saw the birth of my first great-grandson. He was early, only 32 weeks, and weighed just 3lb 7 oz. I now need to hurry up with his crocheted cot blanket that I'm making.

Oh WOW, congratulations Jean and to all the family, i hope things are all going smoothly for him and mum and dad. 8 weeks early is nothing these days, amazing how much things have improved even in the last 20-30 years.

Congratulations! My mother knitted a little cardigan for Ann but used thinner yarn than the pattern called for. She sent it anyway saying I could keep it for her first doll.. My own knitted new born jackets swamped her. Mom's "doll's dress" jacket fitted perfectly. Happy crocheting.
