Red Bouquet

Making a lovely statement, this design uses our 195mm (almost 8") square card blank, so definitely for a special occasion and this beautiful bouquet would fit the bill for a Valentine's Day, Birthday, Mother's Day or Anniversary with the addition of an appropriate message.
The découpage sheet also has a smaller, pyramid design so we have included a design for that too, using mainly the items you will have left over from the main project to make a sweet little birthday card.

You Will Need All The Items Shown Below.

For the Card Choose Colour -99 Ribbed Kraft Brown.
For the Ribbon Choose Colour 020- Red.

Method:

Cut a piece of the red mottled stripe paper to 188mm square and stick to the centre of the card front with the lines positioned horizontally.
Cut a piece of the red hammer card to 170mm square and and the red dotty paper to 165mm square, sticking the paper centrally onto the red card panel.
Cut a 190mm length of the ribbon, place over the front of these two panels, 60mm from the bottom edge, wrapping the ends to the back and fastening securely.
Use the larger sticky fixers to mount this double panel centrally onto the card front, place some pads in the centre as well as to the edge, for support.
Cut a panel of red hammer card to 140mm square, press layer one from the découpage sheet and stick it centrally onto this panel.
Work the successive layers of the découpage onto layer one, completing the design.
Stick the layered design centrally onto the prepared card and add the tag across the lower corner, using sticky fixers.

To Make the Small Card

You will require these additional items:
For the Card Choose Colour -99 Ribbed Kraft Brown.

Method:

Cut a piece of red mottled paper to 90mm square and stick to the centre of the card front.
Cut a piece of red dotty paper to 65mm square and stick to the bottom left of the first panel, leaving a border of approximately 2mm left and below.
Stick the first layer of the pyramid design (on the main découpage sheet) to the top right of the first panel, leaving a border of approximately 2mm top and right.
Add the rest of the pyramid design over the first, using the 1mm pads between the layers.
Mount the birthday tag onto a scrap of red hammer card and trim to leave a 1mm border all around. Sticky fix this to the lower left s shown.
Tie a knot in a piece of the ribbon and trim to make it represent a bow. Stick the bow to the top left corner of the wording panel, by the knot only.
Add a single red gem to the top left corner, as shown.
