Craft Creations Magazine Issue 27 - Autumn 2002

This is the full edition of the Craft Creations Autumn 2002 magazine.
Lovely Christmas angels on dark blue starry backgrounds, full cutting instructions are given. The angels all face slightly different ways enabling you to make a larger 'angel band' scene if worked onto a sheet of plain blue card with peel off sticker stars.
Two unusual and very distinctive designs using pressed leaves. The main design also features dried poppy seed heads. The painted seed heads make lovely tall spikes of flowers surrounded by ferns and Autumn leaves.
If you enjoy making tatted picot flowers these designs show different ways of using them to good effect. If you have never made tatted picot flowers before you will need to look at the Tatted Sprays project (issue 18) for the flower instructions.
The frames are made and printed off using the computer program 'Print artist' by Sierra. It is a fairly old program and may be difficult to get hold of but artistic readers will be able to use the ideas to draw their own frames using other computer art packages.
Three different designs showing how easy it is to foil emboss just using standard kitchen foil. Not as robust as embossing foil, but works well if you don't handle it too much afterwards.

Glass painting is a very popular hobby but often beginners are put off doing projects because of the outlining. The solution - use peel off sticker designs on acetate then simply paint carefully between the lines - no outlining is necessary.
Make these fun bat cards for an Autumnal birthday or for halloween. Easy to make and children will love them.
Another Fimo design by Conny Jones - beautifully made with great attention to detail as ever. Full instructions are given along with actual size assembly diagrams.
Christmas motifs or patterns made from brightly coloured foam which has been cut into small squares to make mosaic pieces. Lots of different designs to choose from.
Make a very smart looking Santa with moving arms and legs to decorate your Christmas cards this year. Detailed instructions and pictures are given for the ingenious mechanism.
Simple designs but so effective on the long thin cards which accentuate the height. Rev. Ramsay used a computer to draw the houses and printed them out but they are quite simple to draw instead if desired.
Use gold or silver thread for a Christmassy sparkle. The designs are stitched directly onto the card, use a two fold card and fold the extra flap behind the work to hide the back of the stitching.
Paper pricking is a growing hobby and many beautiful templates have become available in the shops. It's quite simple to do and requires few tools yet different results are easily achieved.
Five different Christmas cards, all simple to make for those of you who have either left your card making a bit late this year or have too many friends to make complex designs for them all.
Lovely snowflake designs featuring 'shimmer paper' (now available in our project). This paper has a very pretty shimmer and is perfect for Christmas designs. The extra large snowflake is rubber stamped from a foam stamp by Jakar bought from a DIY shop.
Gold Label stickers are so versatile they are great for using with all sorts of crafts, often helping to give a smart result very quickly as this decoupaged parchment craft design demonstrates.
Quick and simple ideas for making your own gift tags. Paper punched shapes and peel off stickers are used in these designs.
This design is useful for using up those little odd bits of thread left over from other stitching projects - too big to throw away - too small for most designs. Try making stained glass window cards for your friends and leave yourself with a much tidier work box in the process.
