Craft Creations Magazine Issue 20 - Winter 2000

This is the full edition of the Craft Creations Winter 2000/01 magazine.
A stunning Anemone embroidered card by one of our regular contributors. This detailed design uses simple stitches and pearl drop beads.
These two pages of bears and balloons are great for mixing and matching using brightly coloured card mounts and scraps of card.
A pretty birthday cross stitch design to fit into a square aperture. The wording could be changed to suit a different occasion if required.
Helga Dharmpaul has designed a set of twelve thread and star constellations for us. This project covers the second four in the set - Aquarius, Pisces, Sagittarius and Capricorn, the last four will follow in the next issue. These stunning designs are easy to work but make sure you buy sequin stars with holes in the centre, rather than the plain ones.
Use a mixture of chunky, textured fabric squares, and plain coloured thin fabric in co-ordinating colours to make these designs. Finished with peel off stickers and deckle cut paper backgrounds.
A design needing lots of concentration and careful cutting. The zebra is cut from white paper then glued onto a sheet of black paper to create the striped effect.
Mary has created an unusual design using 'prima' card and metallic thread. The fans could be made to use as part of another design or simply glued onto a black background to give maximum impact.
Make and bake a whole batch of coloured fimo flowers and save them to make stylish cards as occasions come along. The vase is simply cut from card but you could make a lovely, varnished fimo vase to match the flowers if preferred.
This design is stamped onto tracing paper to give a pretty, soft look to the finished card. A blender pen was used to soften and merge the colours where they meet.
The main card shows a foam frog by some bulrushes, she has picked one to give to her valentine. Also shown is a foam dragon along with two designs cut from card instead of foam.
A neat idea to give to anyone who enjoys football, change the colours to suit the football team as required.
The goose is stitched onto pink aida fabric using wool and a looped stitch, her feet are painted as is the background. The gander is made in the same way but with a different background and no bow.
Di has designed a beautiful cross stitched heart and flowers to make a perfect Valentine's Day card for your loved one.
A charming card to welcome someone into their New Home. Lots of little pictures such as golf clubs, washing on a line, cat and goldfish etc. are traced and cut out with the wording as part of the design.
Detailed instructions for using Gold Label stickers and glass paints onto acetate. Cards with cut-outs on two panels are used so the light can shine right through the design making a lovely stained glass window effect with no need to outline.
Two really pretty baby cards, one for a boy and one for a girl, using woven paper, sequin confetti and a few strips of quilling paper.
Four great silk painting designs are shown with full diagrams and instructions. Rock salt is used to make the lovely patterns within the painted backgrounds.
Janet has used Dreamweaver stencils to emboss onto tracing paper to make these super designs.
