Craft Creations Magazine Issue 15 - Autumn 1999

This is the full edition of the Craft Creations Autumn 1999 magazine.
Six beautiful Christmas designs for you to make, four of them are taken from silk painted designs which gives a gold edge to all the shapes within the design. Also shown are five floral bouquet designs and a floral heart.
Denise has made this lovely card using rubber stamped leaves for the main design and sponged stencilled leaves for the border. Full instructions are given with diagrams to show the different steps.
A neat design using seed beads and silver tubes stitched onto dark blue card creating lovely snowflake patterns.
This stunning glass painted holly design makes a perfect Christmas card. Full instructions and actual size diagrams plus some helpful glass painting tips are included.
Pretty ribbon embroidery with gold beads to highlight the design.
A lovely fun design for Christmas, two festive spiders in their web with holly sprigs.
This pudding is very quick and simple to make. Made from card with sequin holly and puffed up liquid appliqué for the cream.
A very unusual design using black quilling onto gold. The top edge of the quilling paper is brushed over with gold to give a beautiful metallic look to it.
Georgina has made this pretty 3D layered tree to fit with our tree shape aperture card. Peel off sticker wording is used to complete the design.
Felt shapes are cut out and machine stitched to make this owl on a branch. A little donkey variation is also shown.
This smiling Santa is cross stitched to fit into our circle aperture Christmas card. His fluffy beard and hair are made from cut and teased out wool.
This angel is made by looping quilling paper round an onion holder. Use white quilling paper with a gold edge.
If you enjoy using hand made style paper, why not give these simple but stylish Christmas trees a try. They are mounted onto corrugated paper then onto a single fold card.
Some really lovely cards made with twinkly, sparkly and sequin fabrics and gold or silver netting. The year 2000 stickers shown on some of the cards can easily be exchanged for 2001 stickers to make great New Year cards for your friends this year.
Anyone who does 3D decoupage cards will have noticed the large quantity of extra little bits of pictures which end up as leftovers. Brenda has found that these will often make lovely gift tags to put on presents with the added benefit that they also match the card given at the same time.
This design is made from free silk painting with embroidered grasses and bright red poppies. The flowers round the edge are stitched onto water soluble fabric which is then dissolved away.
A cross stitch sampler tree. Quick and easy to stitch so also very suitable for a child interested in cross stitch to try out.
The second and final part of our shadow alphabet beginning from the letter 'N' (see issue 14 for the first part). A wide variety of colour schemes are shown, choose the one you like best to stitch your chosen letters in.
