This one is good if you enjoy very fiddly designs with lots of detail, this design is made from a couple of hundred (or more) paper punched dots. Two different cards are shown, the other design is simpler and the paper is stuck onto sticky fixers before punching to give the it extra depth.
Very pretty flowers, leaves and borders all punched or cut from brightly coloured Vivelle. The article suggests using felt, but Vivelle is much easier to use with paper punches.
A humorous card designed for Easter. Could make a birthday card for someone with a bit of a short temper, but who also has a good sense of humour about it!
This cute 'Thank Ewe' card is made from rubber stamped sheep on little panels and a rubber stamped border round the card edge. Mulberry paper is used to separate the white panels from the card mount.
This pretty design uses a mix of paper weaving for the background and push moulded Fimo for the roses.
Two very stylish trees made from paper with raffia bows. The greetings are rubber stamped but Gold Label stickers would make a good alternative.
Pretty stitched squares worked with the fabric placed on the diagonal for an unusual finish. Three designs are shown using different colour threads, fabric and cards for different effects.
This cross stitch design fits into a bookmark mount or onto a long thin card. Working the design on 18 count fabric gives a more detailed and delicate finish.
This set of cards is by Pam Goodwin, one of our regular contributors and is all about light, stars and things which happen in space. The materials used are generally odd scraps of fabric which combine well with embroidery thread, beads and metal.
Simple shapes put together in an eye catching way are used to make these lovely spring flower cards. Diagrams and instructions for three cards - tulips, daffodils and crocus.
An intricate and detailed silhouette cut from paper which is black on one side and white on the other so it's easy to see the lines. Check out our new cutting method which only requires tracing once instead of the usual twice. Saves time and makes a more accurate design.
So nice for a young child's birthday, these bright and cheery silk painted ducks are really eye catching. Mount into a square card or an upright oblong and add a birthday greeting in the space below the aperture.
The beautiful flowers in this design are made from paper punched dots built up in overlapping circles with quilled leaves and scrolls. A pretty valentines card and fairly easy to make.
Lots of fun designs hand cut from brightly coloured foam rubber sheets. Instructions and cutting templates for all the designs are given.
